#122–are your hamstrings tight? It could be because you have too much pelvic tilt which are lengthening your hamstrings and making them taught, not tight. Perhaps you need to stretch your hip flexors. Likely you need to strengthen the lower abdominals. Or maybe your body senses a lack of stability and is trying to splint the muscle so that the joint(s) over which the hamstring crosses will not incur more wear/tear from excessive movement. Or it could be that your suboccipitals, which are connected to the hamstrings via fascia, are tight and the tension is reflected in your hammies. The etiology could be anything as it’s all connected!
