#278--What happens when you eat one of the foods on your forbidden list? What about when you go out and drink too much or stop exercising for a couple of weeks? Do you beat yourself up about it? Does it open the flood gates for all kinds of behavior you innately know doesn't serve you? The next time you fall back into bad habits or make poor health decisions, look at the experience as an opportunity. You learned what not to do because you've lived it--again. Apparently you needed to learn that particular concept a bit better. So now ask yourself, "how'd that work out for you?" Think about it: is your digestion better? Has your sleep improved? Did it bring you closer to your dream? When the answers to those questions are not what you want to hear, they may serve to motivate you. The truth often does.
