365 Ways #288–Meditation of Gratitude

#288--This is a good technique to use with physical or mental pain:

Find a quiet place, sit comfortably, and begin by concentrating on your breathing.
Focus on something for which you're grateful.
Put this in your heart.
Now think of a pain you have.
Put this in your heart.
Now surround the pain by your gratitude and feel the pain slowly lessen and disappear.
