#343--A doctor whose first instinct isn't pharmaceutical may tell you to eat a banana if you've got high blood pressure. With around 400mg of potassium per serving, that's not a bad suggestion. The potassium will produce relaxation of blood vessels and is proven to be more effective if taken in the form of whole foods rather than supplements.
